Climbing to 3,976m is no easy feat but we have a service that will help you get there in every step of the way. We have you covered in every aspect from food to gear, camp, transportation and more.
and the stars.BASE CAMP FACILITIES: We guarantee to provide you with the best base camp facilities on the volcano. We have built A frame cabins as shelter for eruptions and weather. Stay warm with the cold temperatures and strong winds this volcano presents. In case of an eruption with the magnitude of the one in June 2018, you can remain safe inside. In addition to the cabins we also provide you with a dinner room and a comfy chair fire pit with a view to Volcano de Fuego

There are extras that you can count with at your discretion. Rent the gear you need on the day of the hike from 07:00. When we set off to make Wicho & Charlie’s, we made a promise to always give back, protect the environment
and animals. There’s no better improvement than to make the menu plant based. Keeping in mind the right amount of nutrients and calories
needed on this hike, we made a Plant Based menu for all our hikers. Be at ease as we didn’t sacrifice flavor and never will.
The food we provide is enough for the average person, hiking Acatenango. If you plan on hiking Fuego and Acatenango, we
recommend bringing additional +500cal.

BREAKFAST DAY 1: Toasted bread, fried beans, marmalade, peanut butter, vegan butter, oatmeal, and bananas, tea or coffee.
LUNCH DAY 1: Pasta with tomato sauce, lentils, carrots and snacks.
DINNER DAY 1: White rice, black beans, sweet corn, pico de gallo, BBQ soy, tortilla chips & avocado and pumpkin seed dressing.
BREAKFAST DAY 2: Breakfast Burrito made with Potatoe, sweet potato, beans, onion and chipotle or ranchera sauce and banana bread!

before this timeframe, date change will be done without any penalization.

Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled hike are non-refundable.
In the event of adverse weather conditions that necessitate the cancellation of the tour while on the hike: Participants will need to walk back with the group to ensure safety, carrying their own backpacks.
No refunds will be issued in such cases due to the unpredictability of weather conditions and for the safety of all participants.
Refunds will not be issued for volcanic eruptions or related activities such as ashfall, lava flow, landslides, wildfires or seismic events affecting safety once the tour has commenced. Rescheduling or refunds may be requested at least 24 hours before the tour starts.
If local or national authorities issue advisories or evacuation orders that result in cancellation prior to the start of the tour, a refund or rescheduling will be offered.
